‎Tim Flanagan, Welcome. 'The Moon Stealers and the Quest for the Silver Bough', what is there in this book that makes you so excited about other people reading it, we know the feeling, but we would love you to tell us about that excitement, is it the characters in the book, is it the story itself, is it the writing style in the book, what is it, tell us please about this book and share that excitement with us? Also we would love to see a few lines of your book and enjoy reading it, if possible?

The concept of an alien threat in The Moon Stealers and the Quest for the Silver Bough was originally thought up by myself and my son, who casually asked me to tell him a story one morning. It's a mixture of everything i love in a book, both now as an adult, but also what i enjoyed as a child. Essentially its a science fiction book, but there are elements of adventure, fantasy, mystery and eco terror wrapped up in it too. It was exciting to write as well as being a challenge to draw all those elements together into one coherent book and this is the result. There's nothing more thrilling than to think that hundreds of other people around the world are reading something that has, up until now, only existed in my head and my computer. The Moon Stealers start life as mere bacteria from within the core of a meteorite but elvolve into something more deadly. A lot of the science behind the bacteria is actually true and some elements have actually happened in our world. The adventure aspect of the story takes place in numerous Edinburgh locations, again all of which are real, including symbols, signs and clues.
