The Interpreter: Author Interview With Melanie

Shah Sight
Melanie Dent, Thanks for your interest in our author interview, do you want to say something about yourself to our members and about how and when did you start with writing, and if you could name your first book for us and tell us what it was about, and also about the book that you are writing now, if you do, and tell us what genre attracts you the most to write? Please give us some links where we can get your books?

Melanie Dent I started writing when I was in my teens. I am single and don't have any kids. My first novel is The Lynchcliffe Cuckoo. It is a historical romance set in 1912 and covers issues such as friendship love and treachery across class boundaries. I am currently writing a novel called Eye of the Storm which is about my romantic hero Lewis Franklin and tells the story of his earlier life. Lynchcliffe Cuckoo to be published in paperback by Night later this year (no definite date yet) and is already avaailble on Kindle. I posted link here earlier. I like writing romantces whether historical or not. I would like to try my hand at a crime novel one day but think I am too much in awe of Agatha Christie.

Melanie Dent Thanks Shah
